I am so looking forward to swimming in Claytor Lake today!  I have been in three times this summer and hope to get there many more times before the end.  Summers really do fly and winters walk as Charles Schultz said in one of his Peanuts comics.

Between the weather and all my work it is difficult to get there but I try hard to find the time.  Got to swim!

 Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

When Clyde and I were first married I was very conscious of weight control as I have been most of my life.  I was worried that I would start to lose the battle of the bulge so I made sure I exercised every day.  One day as I was working out in our bedroom Clyde was lying down eating some vanilla wafers.  He looked at me and said, "Lose a calorie for me!"  Now, that would be great if someone could work out for you and you could just lie down and eat!

Some genius needs to work on that one!
