weather today! It is great to get a break from the cold. I am still
sorting through The Bermuda Triangle and finding some things I need to
add to my computer records so the time is well spent. I hope to get to
my current painting later and work on some records. Busy, busy, busy!
anyone knows why my typing is showing up a while after I type it,
please let me know what I need to do with my Mac. This is extremely
made an election comment that I cannot print but he does have a
suggestion for record keeping in this country that might be helpful.
Not funny, just helpful.
about the latest computer crisis concerning IRS hacking that involves a
large number of people, Clyde commented that perhaps we should not have
extremely important records on line. If we reverted to paper records
then the information could not be hacked and there would be more jobs.
Something to consider in our computer dominated world.
I did see a cute comment on Facebook. If we are going to have an extra day in March, why does it have to be a Monday? -Maxine
of frustration today. I'm sure I am not the only one. I ruined a
painting and that is always a downer. The sun just came out so that
helps. I am not going to bore anyone with my current irritations. I
will just get to work and try to cheer up.
wrote down three things I needed to do yesterday and didn't do a single
one of them. I remember years ago hearing my Dad say he had so many
things on his mind. I now understand what he was talking about.
much to do and so little time. Maybe I can get those three things done
today in addition to the stuff I tackle every day. I don't want the
list to keep growing.
have decided to take a break from my Skyline Series because I have a
great idea for a new Kendall Expressions painting. Not sure which
medium I will use but it will be a 20" x 16" one. In spite of all my
chores I will get the preparations going today!

finally said something about the upcoming Presidential election that I
can print! He is not happy about how the preliminaries are going and he
said if it comes down to two he really cannot support he is tempted to
write in Scooby Doo!
know the Bird Man is glad the weather will be warmer this week-end.
Not that the weather stops him. It just stops the car so he can't get
to his favorite sites. Roads are fine and the Bird Man marches on.
asked him today how many species of birds he has seen. He wasn't sure
but he thinks the number is around 400. That is pretty good for a bird
watcher that will not go to any place where the wildlife is waiting for
him with a knife and fork as soon as he gets off the bus.
No Africa for him!
Here's a bird he has never seen and unlikely to ever see!
am so pleased to add another country to my list of locations for my
work! A great patron in Switzerland bought a print of one of my
favorite paintings in my Yin Yang series! Now I have artwork in 26
states, Washington D.C., Canada, Germany, England, Australia, Russia,
and Switzerland. My work marches on!
Special Promotions end today! I will renew Pawleys Island Sunrise in
the Sand all February. Check out the listings at the bottom of the
am still plowing my way through my studio. Right now it looks worse
than when I began. Oh well, I am finding things so that is great!
I consider our computer room to be Clyde's studio where he has all his writing stuff and birding stuff.
When I complained about how hard it is to clean up my studio I suggested he clean his up.
He said he didn't have a studio, just a Messyo.
for sure! Fat chance of that being sorted out. He does take a few
things out of there to recycle so I shouldn't complain. Don't let
anyone tell you writers don't have a mess like artists do. NOT TRUE!
Well, that explains it. All that mess is coming from more than one person! LOL!
of snow out there! I could be getting a lot done in the Bermuda
Triangle but I just can't face it today. I will probably just add more
to it and start a new painting! As always, I will be very careful and
not mess up the studio in any way.
Wow, those pigs look great flying above the snow covered roofs!
Isle of Palms has just passed the 1000 hit mark! Check it out below!

One think I can count on is the lack of close parking spaces at the grocery store when it is freezing out there.
other day I was about to leave when I told Clyde I would probably get a
parking place in Outer Mongolia. He asked which grocery store I was
going to. I was going to the one across the river. He said that was
Outer Mongolia. Ha ha. I don't think the people living in that
community would agree!
am finally going through everything in my studio. I have straightened
out almost all of the stuff in our house and now it is time to tackle
the Bermuda Triangle.
I get so irritated
when I am looking for a record and can't find it. I know I can't get
the whole place cleaned up in one day but there is light at the end of
Maybe, after I am done I can stop calling it the Bermuda Triangle. I hope so!
is the final stage of my latest Charlotte NC painting. I decided to
name it Charlotte Spiral. It has received so many hits that I decided
to put in in the Special Promotion Section. Check it out below!

don't have a lot to say today. I have my igloo suit on and will soon
finish my latest painting. My studio is the coldest room in the house.
I learned years ago that a thick bathrobe over my clothes is much
better than a sweater.
I would have to turn
the heat up much higher than is reasonable if I didn't wear it. I don't
know why I am such a cold person but my hands are like ice this time of
the year. Anyway, I am hardly ever down, just cold. Time to get to

doesn't have a funny for me today but I found a site that has some
great bird jokes despite the name. Here is one from Really Bad Bird
Two vultures were in the desert eating a dead clown. The first vulture asks the second vulture: "Does this taste funny to you?"
is always cheerful. He has so much to do that he doesn't get into bad
moods. The only time I see him a little down is when the weather is so
bad that he is prevented from getting outside to check on birds and
It doesn't matter how cold it
is but when there is ice on the roads he doesn't get out to his
favorite spots. So glad the roads are clear today.
