Two weeks without cold water and when we use cold water in the kitchen the solar system leaks. The heat pump people are doing their inspection today. I hope there is nothing wrong there. One good thing about this problem is I make sure I find the time to get to the Aquatic Center so I can have a hot shower after swimming. I saw something that I thought was very interesting yesterday. The life guard did not sit in the chair. He stood by the pool for a while, walked around the pool, and then stood again. I thought that was a smart way to handle that job. Sitting is so bad for us. That was a very smart life guard!

Clyde mentioned to me a while back that there is evidence that our I. Q.s are going down and the researchers think it has something to do with the time spent on the internet. He thinks we may have to rethink the word Homo Sapiens. Since Sapien is the New Latin word for wise maybe we should change the name to Stupidicus Maximus. Okay, he said it, not me, although considering some of the things we do that causes harm, it is looking like a possible replacement for Homo Sapien.
