Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

I finally have a convert!  People have been asking me how I have kept my weight down my whole adult life.  First they ask if I am just naturally slim which is not at all true.  I had to fight weight gain as a child and teenager.  I went to the library and read a book on nutrition and figured out where I was going wrong. 

Now I know I must eat a balanced diet and COUNT CALORIES.  No one has believed me until now.  Clyde is losing about a pound a week and is not HUNGRY or MISERABLE!  I am so proud of him.  I'm sure the weight loss will help his knee problem. 

The other day I told him he was really losing it.  I let out a big laugh when I saw his face and, of course, said I mean weight, not mind! 

I saw a cute weight joke on the internet.  A woman is weighing herself in a towel.  Her response is, "This towel must be very heavy."
