Well, as usual I am wondering what happened to Monday.  Someone shot another day out of a cannon.  I was very glad to get back to work on my latest Blue Ridge Parkway painting and it is still coming along.  I had an art wrestling time with it last week but I think I am over that and looking forward to what will probably be the last layer. 

I can see why experts like to x-ray paintings.  All my layers are intricate systems of brushwork and come completely together at the end.  I didn't take photos of different stages this time.  I like to do that but it slipped my mind.  So far, I don't think I am losing very successful parts. 

It has not been one of those paintings that are a terrific struggle.  This one has been like a nice  ride down the river with just a  few bumps.  The tough ones keep me on my toes but it is nice to have one that does not fight with me that much.  Be sure to check out my Monday video above!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

I love comedy!  The other day I was watching a great stand up comedian on a show I don't usually watch and he was cracking me up. 

The last thing he said was he saw a woman with pants that had the word yoga on them.  His comment was the pants may say yoga but the woman in them  says McDonalds. 

I mentioned that to Clyde and said I had seen a lot of girls in yoga pants that say McDonalds but I don't think I am one of them. 

I agree. 

You are a smart husband that wants to stay alive.
