I am real pleased to get back to another wildlife painting.  I have had such a hard time starting this one that I went back to acrylics for another Suggestions painting. I already posted it in another blog but there was a problem with the website so it wasn't available for prints.  It is there now.

Other than a strong appreciation for nature I am not into statement art.  I am a formalist and will probably always be a formalist but a message can be read into this painting.  We all lose so much that was important to use when were kids.  The balloons that are just floating around can be taken to refer to that loss.

Anyway, like all of my paintings, the way I handled the colors, spacing, and texture  is what it is mostly about.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

I take a lot of vitamins.  When I was young I studied up on nutrition and have been mindful of it ever since. I have made some mistakes, especially with potassium.  The daily requirement is so high it is tricky to get enough.  Anyway, a while back I bought multi vitamins just for women and forgot about them.  I am working on finishing them up and just use the ones  for adults.  I noticed the women's vitamins are huge.  They are the size of a bullet.

Clyde said maybe they are the size of a bullet because women have to bite the bullet.  Perhaps.

I saw a cute joke on the internet about vitamins.  A guy claims he gets all the vitamins he needs at work.  Vitamin C from coffee, Vitamin D from doughnuts and vitamin B from bagels.
