So glad to be back to work on an oil painting of one of my favorite places in Southwest Virginia, Claytor lake!  I am looking forward to the warm weather when I can swim there again.  It was hard to stay away this summer but I didn't want to risk Covid exposure. 

I have lots of fond memories of swimming there with family and friends.  I also want to go to the Peaks of Otter and Wintergreen on The Blue Ridge Parkway.  Lots of great mountain resorts that we like to go to.  We don't ski so we like to go to Wintergreen for the hiking and swimming and great food! 

After 2020 we need a great break!

Life with the Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

Clyde and I share the same computer that I practically live on.  When I take breaks, I always let him know it is available.

He hates computers but does use them for various chores. 

Yesterday he was watching some kind of Funny Videos program that had a dog chasing his tail. 

I asked him if he wanted to use the computer. 

No. 

You would rather watch a dog chase his tail then use the computer? 

I would rather watch a dog chase his tail, go to sleep on the program, wake up, and chase his tail again then use the computer.

That's my guy!
