I am very pleased to be working on a large painting that incorporates architecture!  I have always been fascinated by architecture and took many courses while obtaining my MFA degree.  One of my most popular architecture paintings is Rehoboth Beach Houses which is also one of my favorite paintings. 

I have included a link to a face mask at the top of the painting.This time I am working on a painting with the Peaks of Otter Lodge that includes the lake and surrounding trees in the Fall.   I am trying something a little different in my technical approach and keeping the second layer almost as thin as the first.

I think I can achieve more expression and color nuance with the large areas more modeled out in the beginning of the work. Anyway, it is always an exciting, sometimes exasperating experience and I am looking forward to the third layer where the arm wrestling will probably begin.
