I am looking forward to getting back to some wild flower paintings after I finish my latest commission. It is coming along but the drying time for each layer has been longer than usual. I hope I can get back to it soon. I need to get out some acrylics for some abstracts but I just can't seem to get it together this time of year. I am still trying to out run Santa. Not much time left and I keep finding something I need to do.
Gee, I wonder if I am the only one complaining about Holiday stress? As Snoopy once said, "My mind reels with sarcastic replies."

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
In our little city there is a smiling Frosty the Snowman across from the bridge that people enter Radford from Fairlawn. It is looks real good there. When I pointed it out to Clyde the other day and remarked on how happy it looked he, of course, had a goofy comment.
Sure, it is smiling now, but when no one is looking it ducks behind a bush and smokes a cigarette.
Frosty wouldn't do that.
How do you know? No one is paying him to stand there and smile. I'll be he frowns big time behind the bush.
Another wacko comment from my curmudgeon.
Frosty may not smoke a cigarette behind a bush but I'll bet he would throw a snowball at Clyde if he got the chance.
