I am on the second stage of a new Suggestions painting and, as usual, I gained something and lost something with this layer but I am still pleased with this floral that appeared out of the paint yesterday.  Here is the first stage!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

For a number of days now Clyde has not been able to give me my wake up call from work.  Of course, we assumed it was our phone and I was going to have to call the provider.  Well, it turns out it was his phone at work.  He tried to call with his cell phone and connected just fine.  Since we have had a lot of trouble with our landline I told him that maybe he should bring that one home and they can fight it out. 

Great phone joke.  Someone left his cell phone at home and asks a friend if the sky is always blue like that.  I'll bet a lot of people would see things they have never seen before if they left their phone home.  Strange new world.
