Once in a while a painting doesn't make you want to throw your brushes out the window.  The one I am working on right now is one of those paintings!  I love to do wildflowers and this one is coming along nicely.  We artists need that kind of experience once in a while.  None of us took up painting to art wrestle our way through it.  We find out  that is the way it is done after we have been painting for a while - right after we get hooked!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

Clyde has lost about twenty pounds and has probably five or ten to go. He still has a little extra around the middle.  He has been losing about a pound a week which is all anyone should lose a week in my opinion.   Anyway, I was looking around for something funny regarding weight loss and saw one with a sign outside a barber shop.  Gluten free haircuts.  

Now I know everyone is concerned about what they eat these days, but what the heck is a gluten free hair cut?  Clyde said it must be like a gluten free computer.  Now I am worried.  I don't know if my computer is gluten free.  I better check.  LOL!
