I am so pleased to sell a large metal print of Apple Splash to a great Arkansas patron! It is great to sell such an expressive piece. My main emphasis will always be the beautiful ranges of Southwest Virginia but I paint in many different directions and it is great to see all my work get out to people!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
When we were visiting family last week we got into some interesting conversations with my brother who has a Ph.D in Computer Science and was working on restoring some old computers from the '90s.
It is great to talk with someone as knowledgeable as he is about the computer takeover. He has no desire to get a car that drives itself and he doesn't want a lot of computer gadgets in a car.
His comment on computer screens in cars was,
Why would you want a computer screen in your car? So it can distract you and then you die?
