Lots of white stuff out there! Our street has not been plowed but I
can see traffic moving on one of the main roads from my window. The
guys have shoveled the sidewalk twice now and it is still pouring down.
I'll never forget what my brother did when we
were kids. He would clear off the driveway after about an inch or two
had accumulated and then repeat as often as necessary. That way he was
just pushing it off rather than lifting heavy snow.
I have mentioned before I have fought the battle of the bulge my whole
life. I can't imagine what it would be like to have the freedom to eat
anything without gaining weight.
have learned lots of tricks over the years to keep my weight down and I
recently discovered a new one that surprised me.
in a while I get the munchies and give in and then am mad at myself. I
hate being stuffed. It ruins the great experience of eating. It is
like I have to over eat once in a while to remind myself I don't want
to do that.
Exercise is supposed to make you
hungry but if I choose to exercise when I am about to over eat it
actually takes my appetite away!
Since Clyde is also prone to eating a little too much I told him I had a new way to stop the munchies.
He said," Sew your lips together? That would probably do it but if you can still eat, then you deserve it."
