Train Spirits Original Acrylic Painting NFS
Prints on Paper, Metal, and Canvas Available at Kendall Kessler Art
My
illustrations for Fiddling at Midnight's Farm House are coming along. I
have the first stage of eleven and am working on number twelve today.
So far Train Spirits is Clyde's favorite. I am so glad the publisher
loves the cover illustration. I am excited about how it will look with
the text. Hope to hear from her soon.

Well,
my main computer woes are over for now but my Instagram feed on my
phone seems to be locked. I have no idea what to do with it.
When
our young friend was helping us with our computer he was appalled to
learn our computer is five years old. We updated it a few years ago but
that doesn't seem to matter much these days.
Clyde said one of these days if a gadget lasts six weeks it will be time to have a big party - a retirement party.
Sounds about right to me.

I am so pleased to sell a print of Beach Beauty to a great UK
patron! This is one of my Suggestion paintings. In these paintings I
start off with an abstract expressionist approach and then when
something starts to appear I go with it and make it stronger. I also add
other objects to the composition.

I am so glad I can use our computer again. The virus was caught in the back up system so we just had to replace that.
While
the computer was being scanned I was working on a lap top that came
real close to becoming a frisbee hurtling out the window at 90mph.
I kept an eye on the scan and it finally finished and there were instructions on what to do next.
I ran to the next room and told Clyde the computer was giving us instructions.
He gave me instructions instead. Shoot the computer and put it out of our misery.
That was tempting. Good thing we don't have a gun.

I can't believe the mistake I a few days ago. I was using the
reverse image search and it was taking a long time when I noticed a sign
that said to download so the searches will be faster.
Now a
search engine that is called Search has taken over and we are pretty
sure it is an awful virus so I am typing away on a laptop. A friend is
going to help us out tomorrow with our computer.
I know better than to click on that sort of thing! Oh well. Live and learn or is it learn and then forget the lesson.

Many
years ago when we moved into our house Clyde planted apple trees,
cherry trees, and a peach tree that died after one great harvest.
It
has been great having organic fruit and I have made a lot of pies. Now
Clyde can't eat apples or cherries and Alan only likes juice.
This
year we are covered up in apples and since we don't spray them they
have a lot of bad spots so I don't give them away. I just try to eat as
many as I can. They taste great!
The wild life problem has
gotten very bad with ground hogs roaming all over the yard and birds
pecking away. Clyde said the ground hogs are not just eating off the
ground, now they are climbing the trees.
He said if I wanted apples I may have to wrestle a ground hog and swat a lot of birds before I get any.
I'll let Clyde get the apples.

I am so tired but I am making progress. I now have six
illustrations for Midnight's Farm House plus the cover illustration.
The publisher said she loves the cover and now she is working with
arranging the text on it.
It is my husband's birthday and we had
a great supper out. I used to say dinner but I have lived in the South
my adult life so I say supper. Whatever! Cheers!

Clyde
is very unhappy about the convenience devices that are being used by
businesses. He is concerned that these devices will more and more
replace jobs while they save corporations money on wages and retirement
plans for people. They can just replace the device with a new one. No
medical insurance is necessary.
He says that perhaps in the future the robots will unite with the poor unemployed and lead the attack on the CEOs.
Well, that is much more serious than funny so here is something I saw on Twitter that cracked me up.
A guy wants to write about all the things he ought to do before he dies. It will be called his oughtobiography.
Love it!

I think Tuesday night's Line Dance performance on a surface that
looked like a cobble stone street in Europe may have done something to
my knee. I keep thinking it is better because it doesn't bother me in
the day time but it keeps waking me up at night with a lot of pain. Oh
well, I figure it will be better soon. I have plenty of aspercreme.
I
now have four first stage paintings for Fiddling at Mid Night's Farm
House. I hope to get another one done tomorrow. I want to have a lot
of time to fine tune them. I am one of those people that works better
under pressure so studio, here I come!

The
other day on a walk through Wild Wood Park I was thinking about several
guys we know that suffered serious injuries while showing off, well
actually one was just taking a risk he always takes.
I mentioned
to Clyde that I was glad he was not such a hot dogger like those guys.
He said he didn't have the nerve for daring stunts. He was more like a
cold puppy than a hot dogger.
I'll take a cold puppy any day!

Since
we couldn't go swimming yesterday, we went for a walk and I managed to
get a few Monarch photos I like. I may add them to my Wildlife
photography gallery or I may turn one into a creative oil painting.
Photography is a great medium, but oil painting is my passion.
I
mentioned to Clyde an interesting post on Facebook. The caption was if
you could be stuck in an elevator with a famous person, who would you
select? I said Einstein and Clyde said Einstein would probably say,
"Why did you bother me? I was having a great moment of relativity and
you called me back to ask some question you think I can answer?
Well,
that is the last time I try to talk to a famous person that is no
longer with us, or at least, that is the last time I mention the desire
to talk to one to Clyde.
I want a rain free day to go swimming. I need to dunk Clyde in some water.
