I am going to keep on promoting Clyde's book launch on June 16th! Fiddling at Midnight's Farmhouse  was published by Cedar Creek Publishing and they are hosting the launch! 

The great event will take place with snacks and music at Christ Lutheran Church!  My illustrations will be flashing on the screens and I will bring the cover painting! Everyone is invited!

The Word Man and I are looking forward to the book launch of Fiddling at Midnight's Farmhouse on June 16th at Christ Lutheran!  His launch is one of a series of literature readings that are hosted by Christ Lutheran. 

Clyde came up with the name Rough Draft Coffee House.  We celebrate creativity in a coffee house atmosphere. 

The name that Clyde came up with goes great with a writers joke I saw on the internet this morning.  Why are writers always cold?  They are surrounded by rough drafts!  Love it!

There sure are a lot of image thieves on the internet.  One of my paintings is still on a Hong Kong based site.  They are selling canvas prints of it.  They have a US office but the lawyers still couldn't do anything about it.  I know of one artist that just doesn't even do reverse image searches.  He would rather ignore the problem.  I am not giving up.

I was so pleased with my latest lizard illustration for Clyde's book that I told him how much I liked it before I showed it to him so he wouldn't be sleeping on the couch for finding fault with it.

He wasn't married yesterday and was quite pleased with it.  I think he was sincere so I didn't need to threaten him after all. LOL!

Just for fun I looked up some lizard jokes and found a bunch of great ones!

What do you call a lizard that tells jokes?  A Stand up Chameleon.

What do you call a lizard that sings!  A Raptile.

I mentioned those to Clyde and he came up with one.  What do you call a reptile that wants to succeed?  A Iwanaguana.

Well, I guess it is nice to know my recent uploads of illustrations for Fiddling at Midnight's Farmhouse are well received.  I just filed another infringement case.  This time it is for Eye Crater.  I hope the lawyers can do something about it.  So far several of my paintings have been taken down but there is still one on a Chinese site for sale as prints.   Time to send a DMCA notice.

Clyde is great about giving me the weather report.  I don't keep up so I have no idea what is next.

Last night he said there was a chance of rain during the night.

I asked him if it would keep me awake.

He said if a kid in China drops a coin on the carpet it would keep me awake.

He followed that up with if a bunch of guys at a poker game in China shuffle cards it would give me insomnia for a week.

I would hope for a little rain today to fall on him but he wouldn't care.  He has no problem walking in the rain.

Oh well.  Back to work.

I now have fifteen illustrations for Dancing at Midnight's Farmhouse which is scheduled to be in print January 2017.  I still have time to do more as the revisions are going very fast.  I revised four today.  We are also considering some of my paintings in the Suggestions gallery.  Some of them would work well with this book.

As I have mentioned before, Clyde calls me from work to wake me up.  He gets up in the middle of the night to go to his job.  Most of the time I am already awake but sometimes he does get me up.

The other day I was so tired I just let out a loud groan when I answered.

He said it sounded like a proposal to put before congress.  He was sure it would get as much attention as other bills.

Ha ha.  I wish I could go back to sleep when he calls.

My illustrations for Fiddling at Midnight's Farm House are coming along.  I have the first stage of eleven and am working on number twelve today.  So far Train Spirits is Clyde's favorite.  I am so glad the publisher loves the cover illustration.  I am excited about how it will look with the text.  Hope to hear from her soon.

Well, my main computer woes are over for now but my Instagram feed on my phone seems to be locked.  I have no idea what to do with it.

When our young friend was helping us with our computer he was appalled to learn our computer is five years old.  We updated it a few years ago but that doesn't seem to matter much these days.

Clyde said one of these days if a gadget lasts six weeks it will be time to have a big party - a retirement party.

Sounds about right to me.
