am real pleased with another Suggestions painting. In this one I
started to see drops in all the swirling color so I made them stronger
and entitled it Color Drops!

Everyone
is on their phone. The other day Clyde and I were behind a car that
was slowly veering off to the left on a neighborhood rode. I slowed
way down so I wasn't near the wayward person in case they crashed into a
car that was supposed to be in that lane.
A while back I was
walking on the Radford Rec track and two girls were walking side by side
while staring at their phone. Not a word between them.
I was
told last week that teachers have given up on getting kids to put their
phone away. Now they have some sort of interactive screen that they use
with their phones. Wow! Glad I retired from teaching.
Anyway, Clyde's comment was an army from another country could invade ours and no one would notice. Everyone is on their phone.

I
am working away on so many things that I keep getting mixed up and have
to tell myself what to do next. I just finished another Youtube so I
can get that up soon and I have done a lot of Social Media Marketing but
there is always more of that to do. I can't get to a painting today
but I hope to do a few more illustrations for Fiddling at Midnight's
Farmhouse before I send all the files to the publisher next week.
I
have a Bridal Shower to go to tomorrow so I will have to try to get one
done before that. In a great movie, Mom's Night Out, the main
character has a sign on the inside of her cabinet that says Keep Calm
and Mommy on.
I guess I need one that says Keep Calm and Art On.

Commercials,
commercials, commercials. I don't watch a lot of TV but when I do I am
overwhelmed with ads. I especially hate the drug ads with their
wonderful advice to ask your doctor if the drug is right for you. I
never go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to and I let him
proscribe the drugs, not TV.
Clyde has a great re-write for the one that claims her loss of energy is restored due to the drug.
Before I started doing these commercial I was poor. Now I am rich and I don't care who buys the drug.
I think that sums it up.

I think Tuesday night's Line Dance performance on a surface that
looked like a cobble stone street in Europe may have done something to
my knee. I keep thinking it is better because it doesn't bother me in
the day time but it keeps waking me up at night with a lot of pain. Oh
well, I figure it will be better soon. I have plenty of aspercreme.
I
now have four first stage paintings for Fiddling at Mid Night's Farm
House. I hope to get another one done tomorrow. I want to have a lot
of time to fine tune them. I am one of those people that works better
under pressure so studio, here I come!

The
other day on a walk through Wild Wood Park I was thinking about several
guys we know that suffered serious injuries while showing off, well
actually one was just taking a risk he always takes.
I mentioned
to Clyde that I was glad he was not such a hot dogger like those guys.
He said he didn't have the nerve for daring stunts. He was more like a
cold puppy than a hot dogger.
I'll take a cold puppy any day!

back is completely well now so it is time to work too hard and injure
something else. Just kidding. I do try to pace myself but there is so
many things I want to work on. Maybe I can get a lot done today without
hurting myself!

I
like perfume and colognes. I never wear them because a lot of people
are allergic to them and I don't want to be the cause of discomfort. My
Dad wore one that I thought smelled great.
Clyde
doesn't use them either but he always smells good to me. The other day
when I hugged him I told him he smelled good. He said it was amazing
what a little soap and water can do. Ha ha. Shampoo is great, too! I
wonder if anyone is allergic to the smell of shampoo. If so, we are all
in big trouble!

I
did too much on Monday. I will never learn. When I really get going
with everything I usually injure a muscle. This time I have a sore
muscle in my upper back. I'm sure it is from too much computer
clicking, typing, and painting.
Oh well, it
is getting better. I hope I can paint today but I probably should take a
day off. I received quite a twinge right after typing the last
sentence.

Yesterday
at Yoga we were in a new restorative position that was quite different
from previous ones and, as always, the instructor was talking to us
about relaxing and focusing on what is good in our lives and not to
think about things that make us anxious.
She
mentioned a number of things that might have been making us anxious and
then she said that we might be anxious about how long she was going to
keep us in the pose.
I had to laugh out
loud at that point because I was wondering when we would move on to
another pose. The others laughed a little, probably to be polite to me.
Oh
well, when I told Clyde he said I do laugh easily. He is right but I
still think he comes up with hilarious quips. He married his best
audience. He didn't have a funny to add to this situation. Next time!

I
actually painted and cleaned up part of the studio today! A miracle in
my own home! Now, if I can just get all my computer stuff done,
supper, dishes and so on I will stop calling this day a horrible
Monday.
I like to work but sometimes it is
just ridiculous! I hope I can get out for a walk before I get covered
up again by the To Do List.

I
can't believe what I said to Clyde Saturday night. I guess I was
having quite a senior moment. We always travel to Ferrum on Easter to
visit Clyde's family and have a great time! Usually I cook supper when
we get home but I thought it would be nice to just eat out. I spend way
too much time in front of the sink.
I
asked Clyde if McDonalds would be open on Easter. He looked at me with a
shocked expression and said he didn't think McDonalds was going to run
off with the Easter Bunny.
I don't know why I
asked. There are still some Holidays that everyone gets to take a break
from working. Easter certainly isn't one of them. I just Googled
McDonalds breaks and SOME of them are closed for Christmas. I guess it
is hard for workers to get a break these days.
