Way
to much to to today and I have a meeting with my son's supervisors at
2:00. Yikes! Today should be a slightly lazy day since the guys are
back at work and I have the house to myself. I never stop but I was
looking forward to taking a little time off to stare at the snow. I
just looked out the window, so that's it. Back to work. Cheers!

As
I have mentioned before, I like to think the reason our computer room
is a disaster with all of Clyde's archives is because he is a genius. I
read somewhere that geniuses are in to so many things they can't
possibly keep it all organized.
Okay, let's go with that. I
call it Mount Clydemore and every once in a while it erupts! Clyde has
been working hard the last few days to try to straighten it out. Good
luck!
Anyway, there was an hilarious joke on Twitter that we both got a big kick out of.
God gives his biggest battles to his greatest soldiers.
He must have me confused with Rambo.
Love it! Clyde may need a Rambo to straighten out his mess.

guys are home today due to the snow so I am hiding the mouse in my
pants pocket whenever they come near the computer room. I have an ipad
but I hate using it. Too small. So much to do and it is too cold to
walk in the snow. I have boots and cleats. I hope to get out there
before the weather is 60%. What a roller coaster winter!

Yesterday
Clyde was watching the Miami Dolphins versus Pittsburgh Steelers. I
asked him if it was a good game. He said it was great because he was
not there. Too cold.
I was wearing a heavy bath robe over my clothes and he was lying on the bed in a t-shirt and no socks.
Must be nice.

Trying
to catch up on paper work and get all my other work done, too. I am
pleased with my two latest New York Skyline paintings that include the
Statue of Liberty! Love my Skyline Beauty series and will be doing more
of them. Need to order more oil paint as I have a number of ideas for
large oil paintings. Got to get moving! I seem to be attached to this
computer but there are other rooms in the house.

Yesterday
we met with an Insurance agent regarding the hole in our roof due to
wind damage. The contractor repaired it and said we should file for a
new roof since there is so much wind damage including another hole over
the car port.
Clyde is a very nice, accommodating guy - a little
too nice so the day before yesterday I told him I needed to mention
something he probably already knew.
Pack my bag and get out of here?
No. Don't tell the Insurance agent that it is all our fault and we are sorry he had to make the trip to check it out.
Okay, he wouldn't say that but he really is a nice guy - a little too nice.

I am trying to cut back on my workaholic ways a little so I
have put myself on the clock. I am counting all the hours I work in a
day and see if I can work in more fun time - especially on the week end
like normal people.
Whoops! I used the
"N" word! I know I can't really use that word when I am talking about
myself. Oh well. Some people go crazy. Maybe a crazy artist can
aspire to be normal. There's that word again!
Time to clock out and watch part of a movie. Cheers!

Every
once in a while we have some crazy electrical problem to deal with. A
few days ago the fluorescent light over the kitchen sink went out. It
was out for two days and I assumed the bulb had died. I hadn't gotten
around to getting another one, when, on the morning of the third day it
came back on and stayed on.
I called Clyde
at work and thanked him for getting up in the middle of the night and
getting a new one at Walmart and replacing the old bulb for me.
He said welcome and to please call any time to thank him for fixing something he didn't fix.
Turns out the ballast was bad and our great electrician fixed it with a smaller one with a much brighter light!

We
had a great time at the movies watching Angry Birds! Clyde didn't like
the preview he saw so he was pleasantly surprised. It was hilarious!
Good to tear myself away from the computer once in a while.

I
am having more trouble with my old car that may or may not be a
problem. I keep hearing a strange noise that sounds like some sort of
plank that is trying to fall out of the bottom. It mostly happens when I
back the car in or out of our driveway.
I
have started driving Clyde to our park walks to see if he can figure out
what it is. Of course, there is no sound when he is in the car.
He said maybe his big butt is applying so much weight to the car that the sound is being squished.
Clyde does not have a big butt.

The
female cardinal that was driving me crazy banging into the window so
she could scare off her reflection has found the hussy once again! I
guess she didn't believe that woman had left so she checked out the
other windows and starting crashing into her again. Well, at least she
picked a window in the living room so the noise isn't nearly as bad.
The
Bird Man really doesn't want to paper all the windows and I agree with
him. I told him that now that the cardinal is not plowing into the
window next to me, the wireless mouse is staying connected. When she
was hitting the window in this room the mouse disconnected over and over
again.
The Bird Man decided that the
cardinal was really in love with the mouse and now that she can't see it
she is searching other windows to find that hussy that stole the love
of her life. The mouse was disconnecting in an attempt to hide.
Now that is one ridiculous story - even for The Word Man!
Well,
if Kermit the Frog can marry Miss Piggy and have frog and pig children
in The Muppets Christmas Carol, who knows what can happen between a
cardinal and a wireless mouse.
Time to get off this computer.
