I have started work on the next symbol paintings in my Whimsy series.  What better symbol to work with than the heart?  I have a lot of great ideas for interpretive paintings of hearts and here is my first one!

Life with The Bird and Word Man - Clyde Kessler

Clyde and I often discuss what appears to be climate changes.  There are a lot of indications that our climate is changing and adversely affecting our environment.  Of course the melting of the polar ice caps is one of the strongest indication of change.

I am surprised that so many people do not believe there is a problem.  A lot of people point to heavy snowfall in their area which they say proves there is no warming trend.  They don't realize that the entire world has to be taken into consideration, not just one area.  Winter 2015 was the warmest one on record. If they actually studied the issue they may change their minds.

Clyde's response is there seems to be something going on with our environment that is not good.  What is not going on is education.
