I am running around in circles today!  So much to do and my son is home sick.  Yikes!  I have to get him to the doctor at 11:30 which means I have to start painting much earlier than usual if I want to catch the best light in the studio.  Still looking forward to Line Dance tomorrow!  Got to paint, play the piano, and dance!  They all keep me going!

Well, I did get to paint despite all my chores and now I will publish this!  Cheers!

Life with The Bird and Word Man - Clyde Kessler

As I have mentioned before, Clyde and I are not happy with digital TV.  We were just fine without it and could get public television.  Since we lost the public television station with the digital takeover we were forced to get cable but we will not pay cable for all the TVs so our bedroom TV blips in and out.  Sometimes the stations come in and sometimes they come in with a lot of abstract art stills. Lots of times only one station comes in.

Last night I reminded Clyde of how television was when we were kids. We turned the set on and the stations came in.  We didn't need a bunch of others and it would work in any room.

He replied, "We've come a long way baby!"  He was, of course, being sarcastic. We would both like to go back to the old way.
