I can't say I like all the political comments on Facebook but I do like the funnies!
I told Clyde about a Santa cartoon yesterday. Santa is writing a letter to a mother and tells her he received her son's request for a drum set.
If she leaves a hundred dollars under the cookie tin he will not send the drum set.
Of course, Clyde had to put in his two cents. Yeah, the kid can use that cookie tin for drum. That shouldn't be too loud!
I don't know about that. She better just put the cookies on a plate. The tin could be very dangerous in this case! LOL!

I
am starting to catch up on some of my computer work as Clyde hobbles
around the house. His knee is getting better every day and he should be
back to work next week. That is a whole lot better than six weeks with
no weight bearing on that leg! So glad it was just a tear!

Clyde
and I both have advanced degrees but the other day we both decided we
must have degrees in Stupidology. While he was taking a shower in the
bathroom with a shower/tub combo we were talking about how great it
would be to have one of those showers that you walk in and sit down.
Then
it occurred to me that we could have been using the bathroom in the bed
room that just has a shower stall. We couldn't believe how stupid we
had been. For days he has been painfully lifting his leg over the bath
tub when he could have been walking into the shower.
What a couple of Stupidologists!

am on a roll! I have completed another Skyline Beauty painting and the
first stage of another Suggestion painting! I am especially pleased
with the new Chicago painting. The soft modulation of color really
drawings the viewer in. I really do live to paint!

Clyde
has been trying a number of natural remedies for his sore hip and knee
with no improvement. The other day I suggested acupuncture. He said
that was a great idea. Maybe it will hurt so much he will jump up and
run after the person that put the pins in and the pain in his body would
disappear! Okay, no acupuncture.
None of the
remedies have worked because the doctor visit revealed torn cartilage in
his knee which is causing the pain there and radiating out to his hip.
The hip is fine. Just pain by association with an injured knee. He
will have to have an operation.
Yikes! I wonder how much will be covered by insurance. A couple of dollars? We can only hope!

I
love to play my piano every day but I hate having it tuned. That hour
of noise is awful! I have a great tuner who takes great care of my
piano and he did that today. My ears are still ringing. I wish there
were a magical way to tune a piano without any sound. LOL!

I was watching TV when Clyde came into the bedroom. I said I guessed he wanted me to turn off the TV so he could go to sleep.
You can blow it up for all I care.

Whatever will kill it.

No, it's worse than a vampire. It sucks everything out of you.
Just
joking, but I do remember reading somewhere that the inventor of TV was
sorry he invented it. Hmmm... Don't know if that is true or not. You
never know about the media.
