Lots
to do today! I don't make News Years Resolutions but I decided, just
this once, to make an End of the Year resolution. I am way behind in my
paper work so I am trying to get that done before 2017. I made Clyde a
committee of one to handle one part of it that we need some kind of
bookkeeping book for. He is much better at buying things than I am.
Here's to the 31st and may the clerical force be with us!

had a great time with relatives yesterday! Lots of laughing. Both of

night Clyde was watching a movie that seemed like it was lasting
forever. When I mentioned to him that it must be a very long movie he
said there are enough commercials for it to last to New Years 2019.
I said that was a crazy exaggeration so he said, "Okay, 2018."

like to publish my blog in the morning but the day didn't just get away
from me. It rocketed right out the door and has probably landed in the
middle of next week. Anyway, I started another Skyline Beauty
painting, this time another New York one that I would have posted below
if the day hadn't flown the coop. Oh well, I will post it soon. Have a

I
like to wear decent clothes when I leave the house so I have to change a
lot. As soon as I get home I take off the jewelry and put on clothes
that Good Will would probably hand back to me.
The other day as I
was changing back into my house uniform Clyde was lying on the bed in
his usual stained t-shirt and baggy pants that are either pjs or just
look like pjs.
I told him that just because he wears his Sunday best around the house doesn't mean I have to.
You can imagine the look he gave me. Sometimes you don't need pictures.

I am not a great sleeper. Never have been, but last night was
awful. Not much sleep at all. I finally gave up at 5:30 and just got
up. Oh well. I always have lots to do but today is especially
loaded with computer and art chores so I wish I had slept. Time to
quit griping and get to work.
I really should not be
complaining. I shipped Cloud Color to a great New York patron and last
night she purchased Rolling Autumn! I hope to get that one out
tomorrow. Great to get more and more of my work out to the public.

I
am still hunched over a laptop and not happy about it. Clyde is going
to get a new mouse today. He is going to see if he can get one that
attaches to the computer. The wireless one has been a real pain in the
neck. Do people still use that expression? It has been losing the
signal since we got it. It just doesn't like to stay connected.
I
want a new rat that can be tethered. I came so close to hurling the
other one right out the window. The computer is too big to throw out
the window so I make sure there isn't a hammer in the closet. I keep my
hammers on the other side of the house. It is safer that way.

hate it when the computer is acting up. I don't back all the desk
top stuff on CDs like I should so now I can't get a lot of my work
done. The mouse is being a real rat. I hope we can either fix it or
buy a new one that won't be hurled out of the window. Meanwhile I am
hunched over a laptop. I will have to endure this position or move it.
I think it will be moving soon.

Well,
we have a new computer problem What else is new? Now the mouse will
move and the pointer is there but it won't click on anything.
Clyde
tried a few things last night and I am trying some things today. I
hate working on a laptop so I hope we can figure out what is going on.
I searched on Google for others with this problem and tried their solutions. Nothing happened.
I
called Clyde to complain and he said when he comes home and sees a sick
cat wandering around or broken computer parts all over the lawn he will
know I solved the problem.
I am not going to put catnip on the
mouse and feed it to one of the strays that is stinking up my bushes,
but there may be broken parts all over the lawn.
My back hurts.

We had a great time visiting relatives and now I am again
parked in front of this Trojan Horse. Spammers to the right of me,
spammers to the left of me. I am just trying to reach nice people and
especially nice people that like Art!
My
sister has a daughter-in-law that plays the violin and the piano. I had
a great time talking to her! I played some Satie for her and she
played a theme song from a popular movie.
My
mother was a fantastic pianist but can't play any more. I am so sorry
she never recorded her music. I really do live to paint but I play my
piano every day. Love all the arts!

Clyde
has noticed a little weight gain in spite of his restrictive diet. We
certainly have found a lot of subsitutes but he isn't as thin as when he
started his Fructose Malabsorption diet.
He
can eat ice cream if it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup in it. I
buy organic chocolate chip for him and he has it almost every night in
spite of the jello I usually have in the fridge.
I
mentioned to him the other day that I am going to start making more
pudding. The ice cream he eats has 200 calories per tablespoon. No
wait, 200 calories per teaspoon!
He didn't buy
it. He doesn't count calories like I do but he has some knowledge of
what is in what. Oh well. The pudding does have a lot less calories so
I will get in there and make some. When there is pudding, he picks
that over ice cream.
