Lots to do today! I don't make News Years Resolutions but I decided, just this once, to make an End of the Year resolution.  I am way behind in my paper work so I am trying to get that done before 2017.  I made Clyde a committee of one to handle one part of it that we need some kind of bookkeeping book for.  He is much better at buying things than I am.  Here's to the 31st and may the clerical force be with us!

 In spite of the aggravations of my current painting I still have hair on my head!  The work went much better today and I am pleased to begin work on a commissioned painting!  A great Virginia patron saw my latest Suggestion painting, Terrier Tug, and asked me to paint a red blood hound in the same style.

I will get started on that as soon as I finish this blog.  Commissions are always welcome!

Sold another large canvas print and They took my house...

I am so pleased to sell another print of one of my most popular works of art, "Natural Rhythm".  This is my first sale in Arizona so now I have originals and prints in 20 states, Washington D.C., Canada, Germany, and Australia.  My work marches on!  As I have said before, I want to cover the world and die with a paint brush in my hand.

Looking forward to my TV appearance on The Hour of Joy this spring with Joy Sutton who wants to be the next Oprah.  Such an energetic lady!  I have no doubt she will succeed and I am honored to be on her show.

It is still great fun for me to see my most popular drawing, "Reaching Out", on The Mindy Project on Tuesday nights at 9:30 on Fox TV.  So far there have been a lot of shots on it on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th episodes.  I hope to see it this Tuesday.

I usually look to my husband for something funny but this one is on me.  I have a new spin on all those commercials that claim you can get a lot of money and keep your car.

I got the money I needed and they didn't take my car!  This is great!  Since they took my house, I am now living in it!  Zoom, zoom!
