Got out to Claytor Lake yesterday!  Such a beautiful day for the beach!  There are a lot of good reasons to live in Southwest Virginia but Claytor Lake tops my list!  There were a lot of boats zooming by so the water was very active which is a lot of fun in an inner tube!  I am always so sad when Fall comes and the beach is closed.  I like the different seasons but summer fun is number one!

I don't have a painting of Claytor Lake but here is a favorite from Pawleys Island!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

As I have mentioned before, Clyde and I wear clothes at home that would probably be rejected by Good Will.  We just aren't into clothes and I was flabbergasted to see $400 dollar tickets on summer blouses in New York- and that was the cheap rack!  We spend very little money on clothes and both of us hate to shop so there is no danger of going broke over a huge credit card bill.

I found a great joke shirt for The Bird Man.  He wears a lot of t-shirts and this one would be perfect!  The front of it says THIS IS A CHEEP SHIRT.  Now that says it all!  Tweet tweet!
