I
am spending more and more of my time fighting the image thieves. I
don't even have to do a reverse image search on Google. I just put my
name in Google and find sites that have stolen my work for sale as
prints or free downloads. Argh!
I have two cases pending right now. I hope my lawyers can get the compensation that I deserve.
I
only sell prints on Fine Art America and Zazzle. If you see my work
for sale on another site, please, please, do not buy them there. I will
not be compensated and it hurts my sales!
I
honestly live to paint, but I am not a Sunday painter. I am a trained
artist with a Master of Fine Art in Painting and Printmaking. You can
read my profile for a partial list of my awards and accomplishments. It
is my job and it is an arduous one that takes up most of my time.
I don't work for free.

Clyde
is great about listening to my gripes so I don't mind telling him
them. I try not to but sometimes you just have to moan about
irritations.
Sometimes he cuts me off with a quip. I was about to lodge another computer gripe when he said he knew what it was.
The computer tap danced on the T.V. and they both ran off together.
That wasn't it.

I
am excited about all the ideas for paintings I got at the shore and
hope to begin one today. Of course, I still want to work on skylines,
expressive portraits of famous people, and a new family portrait. Where
is that Time Fairy? Maybe she can add more hours to the day and clean
up my studio with a wave of her wand! Now that would be great!

Clyde
is not on Facebook and he does not have a website but if you put his
name in Google you will see page after page of listings regarding his
publications and naturalist activities. He doesn't want to be on social
websites or start his own but he may have to soon.
He thinks that one day Facebook and Google will merge and it will be called Google Face. I doubt that.

What
a computer Monday! One thing after the next. My copy paste would only
copy paste part of the text and then I had an awful time getting my
keyboard going with new batteries. As usual, it was a stupid think I
didn't know. Clyde usually replaces batteries. Anyway, I got to finish
Green Meadow Mist so why am I complaining?

Not
sure but I may have mentioned that my mother always said to drive
defensively. I think that was good advice but these days Clyde and I
think the saying should be Drive to stay Alive!
Our
recent trip to the shore was so congested with traffic I was quite
worried we would be in some sort of accident. Who was the fool that
raised the speed limit to 70? If you think people should drive 70mph
then the speed limit should be 50mph.
I know I saw some driving at 90mph, zipping back and forth in the lanes.
I
know I have mentioned this before but I really think I would like the
bumper sticker that says, "I slow down for tail gators". I would swear I
had one car about an inch away from mine on the interstate.

We
are having a great time at the beach! Clyde rented a wonderful house
that even has a high porch where The Bird Man can have a great time.
Of course, there is an inside door at the top of a long stair case to
the porch. Yesterday, right before we went to dinner I told Clyde I
locked the door in case someone pole vaulted up to the porch and then
entered the house and stole our bathing suits.
The look on his face was worth that silly quip!

As
I have mentioned before, I love word play. When you marry a writer the
words bounce all over the place like ping pong balls.
The
other night I heard Clyde let out a groan and I thought he said old. I
always like to tease him when he says that. I tell him he is just a
baby. Actually the word he said was "oh" so he corrected my tease. He
said at his age they were synonyms.
Anyway, here is a great pun that cracked me up on Facebook. Clyde liked it, too.
I have a phobia of German sausage. I fear the wurst! Love it!

Line
Dancing was great last night! Our class is growing again and the
newcomers already know a lot about Line Dancing! Now, if the Skating
Rink in Christiansburg would re-open I would be one happy lady! I still
can't believe I bought an expensive pair of skates right before it
closed.

Clyde and I were again griping about the time we spend on the computer.
Sometimes I just want to take a hatchet to it and he said," Don't, you might hurt the hatchet."
Not sure if I have posted this gripe before but I am not about to look through all my blogs.
Back to work.

Got
a lot of Monday work done. I try to clean house on Mondays and today I
actually did it! Hooray for me! I didn't get to paint and now I have
too much computer work to do so I won't get into the studio today. I
think the studio is the reason I have such a hard time getting house
work done. It is always calling me. Got to paint!

Are you always a smarty pants? No, sometimes I'm asleep.
