Well, I couldn't be more uptight about a matter that I have to keep private. I hate these kinds of confrontations but it isn't something I can avoid. It isn't anything about my artwork but it is quite serious. Oh well, it will pass and I am looking forward to that day.
Meanwhile I have two commissions I am working on in addition to every thing else. Yikes! Better to be busy then not have enough to do but it sure is difficult to find the time.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
When
I was teaching at Radford University I had some night classes so on
Mondays we ordered Pizza and Tuesdays we got Chinese take out. For some
reason we still do that. The habit took hold and didn't let go.
I
love broccoli and almost always order chicken and broccoli. Yesterday I
was wondering why I hardly ever ordered shrimp and broccoli, so I
ordered it.
Later, as I was downing one drink after the next I
remembered why and mentioned to Clyde that I don't order it often
because it is the saltiest dish there.
He said that is because the shrimp bring the ocean with them.
Okay, I like that one! Cheers!

Life with The Bird and Word Man - Clyde Kessler
As
I have mentioned before, I love word play. When you marry a writer the
words bounce all over the place like ping pong balls.
The
other night I heard Clyde let out a groan and I thought he said old. I
always like to tease him when he says that. I tell him he is just a
baby. Actually the word he said was "oh" so he corrected my tease. He
said at his age they were synonyms.
Anyway, here is a great pun that cracked me up on Facebook. Clyde liked it, too.
I have a phobia of German sausage. I fear the wurst! Love it!
