Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

When I was teaching at Radford University I had some night classes so on Mondays we ordered Pizza and Tuesdays we got Chinese take out.  For some reason we still do that.  The habit took hold and didn't let go.

I love broccoli and almost always order chicken and broccoli.  Yesterday I was wondering why I hardly ever ordered shrimp and broccoli, so I ordered it.

Later, as I was downing one drink after the next I remembered why and mentioned to Clyde that I don't order it often because it is the saltiest dish there.

He said that is because the shrimp bring the ocean with them.

Okay, I like that one!  Cheers!
