Lots
of snow out there! I could be getting a lot done in the Bermuda
Triangle but I just can't face it today. I will probably just add more
to it and start a new painting! As always, I will be very careful and
not mess up the studio in any way.

One think I can count on is the lack of close parking spaces at the grocery store when it is freezing out there.
The
other day I was about to leave when I told Clyde I would probably get a
parking place in Outer Mongolia. He asked which grocery store I was
going to. I was going to the one across the river. He said that was
Outer Mongolia. Ha ha. I don't think the people living in that
community would agree!

Mondays
don't usually bum me out but I definitely got up on the wrong side of
the bed this morning. I think the cold weather is getting me down a
little.
Usually I like the change of seasons
and just because I have to wear a heavy bathrobe over my clothes is no
reason not to enjoy looking at the pretty snow outside. I am one of
those extremely cold people.
If I turned up the heat to accomodate me the others would burn up.
Anyway,
I didn't paint when the light was right so now I am mad at myself. I
don't usually accept any excuses to keep from painting but I did this
time.
Oh well, time to cheer up and look forward to spaghetti tonight!

The fat funnies keep on showing up on Facebook and I love to share them with Clyde.
It seems there is a way to get rid of unwanted fat without any sort of diet or exercise.
On the Dawn Detergent label is this; "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."
Clyde replied, "Does that mean you have to sit in the dishwasher to see if it works?"

am really getting into my Skyline Series! I keep on finding different
ways to approach these city works. I love architecture and I love
color so I am combining some fanciful approaches to established
buildings. Great interpretive work!

has come up with a number of funnies that I know I can not print.
Contrary to what he says I do have some discretion and have no
intentions of getting into trouble on a blog.
Anyway a friend posted a real cute funny the other day.
One woman asks a friend how she is doing on her diet.
The friends says not so good, for breakfast she had eggs.
The woman says that does not sound bad.
The friends says they were Cadbury eggs.
Clyde hates eggs but he sure will eat Cadbury ones!

In
spite of a sore neck I was able to go to Yoga yesterday and the class
was full! Great to see so many people there!
I just avoided any
position that involved turning my neck to the left. It is still sore. I
still don't know why I woke up Monday with a horrible pain.
Anyway, it
is just about gone. Yes!!!!

As
I have mentioned ad nauseam I spend a lot of time on the computer
promoting my artwork. I used to run around to galleries which was quite
a chore so I really shouldn't complain about all my computer chores,
but I do.
I am always thinking about what I
need to do and don't want to do and then I am reminded that most of the
chores take two shakes of a lamb's tail.
Well, the problem is there are so many chores that I am shaking that lamb's tail all day long.
Clyde said I should watch out. Peta might come after me.
Ha ha.

Monday
is not starting off well. I thought I was working on a draft and
instead I typed over yesterday's post. I decided lateer to put that one back. Oh well, like my son says,
"Mondays and Tuesdays are rough on me."
I am
never using the glasses by the computer again. They fall down my nose
so I am always looking up at an angle and this morning I woke up with a
sore muscle in my neck. Ouch! I have plenty of glasses in the kitchen
and now one of those pairs will be here.

I have been married to the Word Man for so long that I am starting to come up with some humorous sayings.
I
am always baffled with the amount of attention that is paid to small
things and not important ones. I am not going to give out examples for
fear of offending someone.
Here is what I came up with.
Attention
to small things rather than the big problems in our society is the
nuts and bolts of stupid and that is what makes the world go around.
Clyde had a different ending to the saying but I think I had better not print it. "World" will do.

I
hate doctor's appointments. Who doesn't? They take a big chunk of
time out of my busy day and this time it is the Eye doctor. That one is
always very long due to the drops time. Oh well, I am glad there are
people that are willing to help the rest of us out. Quite a difficult
profession, and oftentimes a thankless one.
My work will wait for me. I think it likes to pile up, especially in the studio.

I
saw a cute episode of Mike and Molly the other night and something Mike
said reminded me of how, in many ways, I am one of the boys.
When
we are home Clyde and I dress in clothes that Good Will would probably
not accept. I have a lot of messed up clothes to paint in. I hate
wearing a smock.
Since we wear junky stuff we don't bother with napkins.
On
the show Mike is home with the guys. No girls. He brings in the food
in the living room, announces what they have , and says, "And if you
have a shirt on, you have a napkin".

So
much to do today I am getting dizzy thinking about it. I often think
about Einstein's theories on time and how it can move so slowly for some
people.
My time moves like a rocket and I
have to run to get aboard! The snow sure looks pretty. Maybe I will
escape and walk in it for a little while. That would be great!

Clyde
is a mountain man and loves his home. He has walked up and down these
mountains countless times and works hard to educate people about this
gorgeous region of Virginia.
After spending two
and a half hours shoveling snow yesterday he said, "You know you are
getting old when you want to move to Florida even though you hate Florida more than snow.
We aren't moving and he doesn't want to buy a snow blower. Glad the roads are clear today.
