Facebook can be a lot of fun!  Sometimes there are great jokes that I share with people and I post my work there, too.  Lots of great compliments!  The other day I saw something that I thought was especially funny and clever.

A beautiful, well-endowed girl sent me a friendship request.  She had a number of faintly colored letters across her chest.  I had to look close and then I realized I was looking at part of the standard eye chart.

Clyde said that was one eye chart guys would definitely check out!

We didn't get to go swimming yesterday.  It really did look like rain and the prediction was 50% so we missed out.  The swimming area is closed after Memorial Day so I went there this afternoon!  Great time!

The mouse in the trap managed to get out when I was out of the kitchen!  It looked like it was asleep all morning and then gone in the afternoon!  Clyde was going to take it down to the river but now I doubt we will catch it.

I am not happy with this Have a Heart trap.  Maybe it should be Have a Way Out trap.  Anyway, Clyde said it was still all morning because it was meditating on how to get out.  Well, it found a way!  Rats!

Such a beautiful day!  We were going to the lake but that isn't possible today so we are heading there tomorrow!  I love it when my guys come with me!  Not sure if there are any life guards at this time of the year but we just don't swim in the deep water.  Now that I have pretty much sworn off swimming in the ocean due to all the shark attacks the lake is very important to me!  Pools are great but swimming in natural water is much more fun!

Since Clyde and I don't have a daughter we have never had to worry about boyfriends.  I'm sure that is a difficult phase of a parent's life.  I know of one family that just didn't allow dating at all.

Anyway I had to tell Clyde of the best advice a father ever gave his daughter's boyfriend when she started dating him.  This was on my favorite family show, "The Middle".  The father looked at him and said, "You do know I work in a quarry?"  The boy said yes and the father said,"With dynamite."

Talk about the strongest warning ever!  Love it!

I sure do spend a lot of hours on this time saving device trying to figure out one thing and am usually unsuccessful.  Great machine but sometimes I wonder about the time saving part.  I want to add my website annotation to my Youtubes and according to Youtube my URL is not valid.

I have looked at a lot of discussions on the problem and am still not able to do this one thing.  Now I know why kids are majoring in Computer Science. They, of course, want to make a good living but how else are they going to use this machine without intense aggravation?  It certainly is a study all its own.

Clyde and I try to eat well.  Ever since I found out about a friend's friend who's cancer is reversing itself without chemo we have switched to organic for almost every thing.  She just stopped eating foods with pesticides and her tumor is shrinking.

Still we have to have our staples and we both agree chocolate is one of the main ones.  I buy the organic chocolate but it just isn't as good as Russel Stovers so we are just going to have to take our chances with that one!  Got to have this top notch staple!  LOL!

There is hope for this extremely computer challenged lady.  I just have to remember that computers do not always do what you tell them to. I was complaining how I followed the instructions on how to add a twitter list and nothing happened.

Well last night I did exactly what I did the other time and this time it worked!  A computer is a machine that thinks and sometimes it thinks it isn't going to help me.  I guess it gets over the tantrum and decides to let me get something done.

It is a little like taming a difficult dog.  Nice doggy, nice doggy!  Come , sit and I will give you a treat.  Nice computer, nice computer. Do what I ask you to do and you won't be thrown out the window.

As always Clyde plays with words.  He has a new one that is rather strange.  According to the Word Man the true meaning of claustrophobia is fear of Santa Claus.  Now that is different. When I asked him why this definition since people love Santa Claus.  No one is afraid of him.  He said just go to a mall at Christmas time and observe the crying toddlers dumped into a strange man's lap all covered in white and red.

He certainly has a point there!

I try so hard to work on computer stuff that will help me out of all the extra work that I would rather not do, but, as usual the computer is fighting me.  I followed the directions to the letter to add a list on Twitter so I can add people to the list and cut down on all this retweeting.  The list is not there after three attempts.   My computer is up to date.  I just added the latest update and still the computer hates me.  Aarghhhh!!!!!!

I am real pleased with the attention I am getting on this expressive mixed media work!  I put it up a couple of weeks ago and it has already surpassed the 1000 hit mark!  Yes!

Most of the time, even when it is hot, I wear pajamas.  If I don't, after a while I wake up and have to put them on.  My temperature seems to change a lot during the night.  Clyde says the same thing.

There is a great funny on Facebook that cracked me up!  The cartoon is of an apartment fire and someone backing down the fire escape with out any clothes on.  The caption reads, "Good reason to always wear pajamas!"
