Well, I made chocolate bread and I don't like it. Not sweet enough for me. I know there are people at our church that do not have the sweet tooth I have so I will take it there for after church reception. I'll bet it will go like hot cakes!
I can' believe I am going to Yoga on a Saturday but my Friday class was cancelled and I really need a class. I can't make myself do more than twenty minutes of Yoga at home. I need that teacher telling me what to do for an hour so I can get a good work out.
I also need to finished a Youtube painting and work on a new Blue Ridge painting. We workaholics are hopelessly busy. I need to take a day off. Yeah, like that is going to happen.
Oh well. Happy Weekend everyone!

We had two Trick or Treaters . Last year no one came by. I was surprised to have any since it was raining and the wind was howling. We sure do end up with a lot of candy which is nice.
I told Clyde we probably didn't need to buy candy anymore.
Yeah, if we didn't buy candy a bus with fifty kids would drive up to our house and completely egg it.
Right. That is why I buy a lot of it every year.

I am so pleased to sell another original painting! As I have said many times I live to paint but I can't take them with me so I am glad this painting has a great Kansas home! Halloween and Christmas decorations are at the stores now. A Witch in one aisle and Santa in the next. I bought one of those parrots that repeat what you say in a parrot voice. We had one a long time ago but it broke so now I can put one out on Halloween for the kids to laugh about.
When we left the store there was a bake sale outside. It was called a Spook Sale. Clyde said that a Spook Sale must be when you don't know what you are getting until you buy it and then you are scared when you find out.

We had a great time at The Peaks of Otter! The last time we were
there we took the bus up to Sharp Top and walked down. I don't remember
the quarter mile trek mostly up stone stairs to get to the top after
the bus drops you off! That was not easy for me in spite of all the
exercise I get and the yoga I do every day. My pulse was racing.
My
mountain man husband and son zipped on up without any problem. Oh
well, it was great and the lunch at the lodge was perfect. I think they
must make their own bread. The bun for my chicken sandwich was
fantastic!

Still
super happy with my new mouse! Once in a while the pointer is in the
shade and I think the signal is lost! Oh no! I can't bear to have
Zippy the Wonder Mouse acting like the old rat. So far, I am always
wrong and Zippy is connected and clicking away! Oh yes!
Clyde
is at his usual word play and he doesn't know if anyone else has come
up with this one but I am going to print it anyway in anticipation of
Halloween.
