Reports of the coming storm keep changing and it is predicted to be the storm of a lifetime so we are all hunkered down and hoping our homes won't be destroyed. That huge tree right outside the window has me nervous. I hope it does not come crashing down. I have made it this far without a serious tragedy and I hope my good fortune continues.
Someone in India is checking out one of my large paintings. I hope he does purchase it but I will have to get someone to build a wooden crate for me. I wish I could turn back time and make sure the guy that finished our carport knew my crates were not trash. The lumber yard that built them for me closed.
Oh well. Artwork can present a lot of problems but they pale when the weather acts up. We will see soon what this hurricane will do to us. Hoping it is not as strong as predicted.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
I used to go to bed at 10:00. I had such a hard time getting to sleep. I don't sleep well so I thought maybe I am one of those people that need to stay up late so I started to go to bed at 11:30. I can't stay up later since I have to get up at 7:30. Clyde sleeps like a rock and goes right to sleep at 9:00 since he has to get up at 4:00. I am so tired all the time and wake up several times at night thinking of crazy dreams, mostly dreams about traveling.
I almost always wake up at 5:00 and 6:00. Once in a while I can't get back to sleep but most of the time I do and I am much more restful when Clyde wakes me up at 7:30. Maybe one of these days when he is retired I will stay up to 1:00 and see if I sleep peacefully to 9:00 or 10:00. I hate to miss the morning hours but I would like to sleep better. Oh well, there are a lot more important things to worry about but I think this sign that is in the public domain is a good one for me.
