Well, I arm wrestled my latest painting down and now it is just a matter of finesse. I hope I don't have back problems the next time. It is never good for me to have to leave a painting for a while and then begin work again. I am really tired of the saying, Seize the day, but it does apply here.
I have to seize the paint brush since I am changing every day and if too much time elapses between painting sessions the painting starts to yell at me. I don't like being yelled at.
Anyway, I am very pleased with the end result and when I have finished the tweaks it will go on my website!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
A while back I told Clyde I thought I was a little on the nutty side but I am a well functioning nut. No artist likes to rant that artists are not nuts more than me, but I do think I am a little off - at least according to others. I think if I were actually tested I would come up normal but I am definitely a non-conformist to say the least. I hate to shop for clothes. How many girls can say that? The stores are full of them.
I love to paint even though at times I have thoughts of opening a vein due to frustration. If I had time I would play the piano most of the day even though the music running through my head can be an excruciatingly difficult experience. I wish there were an off button.
Oh well. Clyde is out studying birds right now and some people call him nuts. If every one did what he does we would not have environmental problems. Saw a great joke on the internet about mental illness.
A psychiatrist asks his patient that is lying on the sofa, "Is nut job hyphenated?"
