Well, I am not going stir crazy yet but I am not getting out much. I am worried about the virus and have been washing my hands all the time now. I have to go grocery shopping but I figured out a way to do that with minimal contamination.

I try to keep my distance from other shoppers as much as possible and I wear gloves. I sanitize my hands before I put the gloves on. Then when I get home I take them off and sanitize my hands again so I can pick the gloves up and put them in the wash. I hope that helps.

We don't have a reported case here but I have heard we don't have the testing kits so there may be cases that are not documented. I never thought I would see the day that the whole world is quarantined.

Anyway, I have a new video up on my latest Dallas Skyline Painting. It is very short because the demo tape I made didn't work out. I was just about done when the camera messed up so I made a short video of the painting and my latest Blue Ridge painting.

Looking forward to a new oil painting as I continue to paint acrylic skylines and other abstracts.

Clyde and I love Russel Stover pecan sandies. We consider them to be a staple and I hate it when we run out. Kroger used to have big bags of them but now they just have small boxes.

I was so surprised to see them on sale for $1.50 so I bought one hoping they were not stale. I figured they would be good but Clyde said watch out for dinosaur bones.

Okay, I know exaggeration is one of the key components of humor but dinosaur bones in candy? I think that is a bit much. LOL!

I have been having hard time sleeping lately for many reasons so last night was great! I went to bed at 10:30 and didn't get up until 8:00! Always good to get some much needed sleep.

I have never been one of those people that drop right off like my husband does. Some of us have a very hard time turning off our minds. I am not surprised that I remember a lot of whacky dreams since I don't sleep that well.

Anyway, I am looking into my next painting idea and I put up my Monday video on Youtube! Be sure to check it out. I decided to go back to some Skyline Beauty paintings and the first one is of Dallas Texas.

I was feeling a little down the other day so naturally I wanted to get some cheering up from Clyde so I lied down next to him in the bedroom where he was watching T.V.

I want you to do something to cheer me up.

Well, at least I didn't look in the mirror and complain about how old I look and then asked him to say something nice and his response was, "Well, your eyesight is perfect."

Love that joke! Important to laugh every day!

Argh, argh and argh again! I am so tired of being run over by technology. Now my phone is acting up and it is a new one. I always get help from my husband when I have to contact the provider for help. If I don't I may start heaving things around the room in total exasperation.

What really aggravates me is we spend fifty minutes trying to get help and have to just say bye on the chat. It always goes this way. I explain the problem and am given a solution which does not the apply to the problem. Then the agent goes through a bunch of other solutions that don't work and then just repeats the first solution.

That is when I want to start chucking things. Oh well, I figured a way around the problem and will just go with it. I don't want another fifty minute useless chat. We could call but then we can't understand the representative because of the thick accent.

I may have to appear in court for the first time and I have been thinking of all the things that people can't say on the stand. Hey, I have seen lots and of lots of Judge Judy!

One word keeps coming to mind that we have all heard. Hearsay. I think of all the things I could say which would be labeled hearsay.

Then I thought of some other things I shouldn't say and decided I had come up with a new legal word! I had to tell Clyde. He hadn't heard it before.

There is Hearsay and then there is Stupidsay. I better avoid both of them if at all possible!

Well, once again I decided on a different direction with a painting that was fighting me and then all of a sudden it started talking to me and cried uncle. I finally resolved the problems I was having with the spacing and atmospheric effect. As usual, I sort of know how I got to that point but not really.

Painting is always an adventure unless the painter follows formulaic devices. I would quit rather than take that approach. Anyway, there is something different about the surface quality that I am very pleased with and will probably quit soon before I over work it.

Any of this make sense to you? It would if you had a paint brush strapped to you like me. You have to really love art to put up with all the problems but it is so great when they get out into the world. As I always say, I can't take them with me.

Yesterday we were watching a cute little girl on TV holding a skunk. She claimed she would not be sprayed since she was not a threat to the skunk. I had a hard time believing that and figured the glands had been removed which I know can be done. Anyway, she gave the figures for the skunk population in the US and the skunk made me think of Congress.

I'll bet those numbers don't include the skunks in Congress.

Clyde said some of those skunks would scare a skunk sprayless.

Right.

Just kidding. I'm sure there are some hard working members of Congress but I'll bet it does stink at times in there.
