I am real pleased with my latest Fall painting!  I have one more layer to go but it won't look that different.  Sometimes the arm wrestling isn't that bad! Well, bowling tonight!  Yes, no where near the Computer room and I do not stare at my phone at the Bowling Alley.

I have not had a Dance class since summer!  My poor teacher has Lyme disease and she does not feel well enough to teach.  Lately I have been complaining to Clyde that I miss my class.  He said he knows what that is like.  He has always been a no class guy. 

I really am going to get punneled to death by him but what a way to go!  I love puns.  They always crack me up and he does have class!

Cute dance joke.  Dance like no one is watching because they aren't.  They are looking at their phones. That's the truth!

Working away.  I guess we all do that.  I never thought I would be doing so much work on a computer but that is the way it is these days.  I am pleased with the progress on my latest Fall painting.  I just wish there were more light.  When I have to depend on my daylight flurorescent lights it is hard to see the warm colors.  There are special artist lights but then the painting only looks good when that light is turned on. 

A combination of window light and daylight flurorescent works best for me.  My work is made to be seen in homes and I work hard so they look good in natural and/or incandescent. 

Back to work!

Since it really is Fall now as is evident by the color changes and cooler weather, I was looking around for some Fall humor.  Here's one. It was a terrible summer but Humpty Dumpty had a great Fall.  Clyde added... All winter he sat and shivered.  Spring came and he fell all to pieces.  I think that takes care of poor Humpty Dumpty!  The temperature is supposed to drop 20 degrees today. 

That is a fall I don't want but I think it is about time.

I am getting so many hits and compliments on my latest Blue Ridge Parkway paintings that I decided to paint one more. This one will be 20" x 16".  The other three are 14" x 11".  I can hardly wait to get started!  Sometimes I wish Clyde were not an artist, too.  Then he could do all my promotion and paper work like Whistler's girlfriend.

Oh well. We will be talking to the publisher about his book this evening that has a bunch of my illustrations so I really shouldn't complain!
