Still no warm water and a lot of smart mice running around leaving their calling cards.  I was getting discouraged over the lack of success with the traps and worried that they had gotten too smart for them when I found one this morning.  Yea!  I don't like to kill them but they were too smart for the Have a Heart trap so they either need to vacate the premises or pay the consequences.  I hope they are packing their bags right now. 

I have started another Fall Peaks of Otter painting.  This one is of the beautiful lake in front of the lodge.  Here is the first layer!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

I try to find time to read.  It is difficult since I am practically manacled to a computer.  I don't want to read online books.  It is tough on the eyes so I do get books from the library.  Radford library has a great collection and they get new books in all the time.  Sometimes I pick something out without my glasses and wonder how that one got in my house. 

Clyde always checks out what I get and gives me his opinion.  The last book I checked out was a rather unsophisticated illustrated book of poems that I thought was something else.  Clyde was not at all impressed with it.  I told him I got that book by mistake.  He said the author wrote it by mistake.
