I am having a problem with the gear shift in my old car.  I had to travel a little further than usual and didn't have any trouble with it so, of course, I forgot about the problem and made two stops I didn't need to make on the way home.  It was fine at the first stop but acted up at the second stop. 

It took a while, but finally I was able to shift into drive.  As my Dad always said, "Pay attention".  I am such a drifter off type of person.  Anyway, I am home safe and sound.

Life with The Bird and Word Man - Clyde Kessler

Clyde likes to listen to Blues music. Oftentimes he will listen to a station that just has the music with some background on the artists.

I brush and floss my teeth all day long.  That is, of course, an exaggeration but when my dental hygienist said I had heavy build up even though I brushed three times a day and flossed at night I decided to work harder at keeping my teeth clean.  I even have a kit in my purse. 

I told Clyde I should write a Teeth Brushing Blues song.  He had a good idea for lyrics.

I am so blue. I brush my teeth all day long.  I am running out of floss, my fingers are tired, and my teeth and gums are now blue, too!
