Blue Ridge Parkway Artist Presents New Youtube and Cracking Up...
Please click on my latest Youtube!
My mouse is driving me crazy today. The selecting is whacky. I can't select and then write over it. It knocked one of my youtubes to the bottom when I was trying to change something. I know what the problem is. I keep putting off changing the battery. It needs new juice but I keep pushing the old one a little more. After my last loud cussing session I think I just may get off this seat and get a new one.

I am pleased to present my latest impasto oil painting! This one came together so well I could pinch myself but I don't like pain.
This is definitely my most complex painting so far. Every square inch is an explosion of color and texture and my joy comes right through every brushstroke!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde is not interested in writing novels or humorous books. Poetry is his thing but every once in a while I tease him about writing a book.
Since he is such a curmudgeon I said he should write a book called The Stupidity of Everything. He said that would take 5000 pages for the first sentence.
Now that's a curmudgeon deluxe!

I have been doing my Happy Dance today! I played for Thursday night's service, Friday night's service and today's service but I don't play next Sunday! Great to have a break! As I have said before, I love to play the piano but I don't like to perform.
Stage fright is awful. I thought I was done with the stage when I retired from teaching but somehow I got back on. Oh well. I hardly shook at all today so I am getting better at it and I get great compliments from the parishioners!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde is still working diligently to improve his knee with exercises and leg lifts. He also gets a shot every so often right into the knee which is very expensive. I asked him if it hurts.
He said the small ones that are administered more often than the big one don't hurt but the doctor said Insurance will not cover those. It will cover the one with a big needle. So, in order to keep the Insurance Company happy Clyde has to be harpooned every six months.
Yuck.

One great thing about Social Media is that a lot of what I do to keep up with it can be done while I talk on the phone. Just finished a good conversation with my brother while I got a lot of computer chores done.
Always like to talk with him about computer stuff. He has a doctorate in Computer Science so he is not next door to clueless about this helpful but aggravating device.
Cheers on a Friday! Good Friday is you celebrate it!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde doesn't speak Spanish but I like to practice my Spanish around him because he usually comes up with a funny comment on it.
I also like to us a little Spanglish now and then. The other day he asked me when I was leaving to go Line Dancing.
I said around quarter after dos a clock.
After you had a dose of what?
I don't drink booze. I married you. Why would I drink booze?
Why wouldn't you?
Ha ha and again, yes Sheldon, that was a sarcastic ha ha.

Roads are great now but a lot of surrounding areas will not have power for a few more days! What a Spring storm! Our power was only off for a few hours. We certainly have had it easy compared to some. I hope that was the end of the winter weather that showed up late.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
The other day I said to Clyde while he looked parked in the living room chair without hope of removal. Looked like he was stuck.
Anything new?
No.
Anything old?
Yeah, sitting right here in this chair trying not to fall off.
Don't think that will happen. He is 36 pounds lighter than he was last Spring but I think he can still stay in a chair.
