I have a lot of fears. I am a very timid person. I am afraid of heights and I have no desire to get in an airplane unless I have to. If God had meant us to fly he would have given us wings. I know you can't get away with saying that one anymore but I say it anyway. No one can get me on a motorcycle. They don't have seat belts.
All of the doors to my house are practically barricaded. If I were a crook I would just walk in and if someone is home I would say, "Whoops! Wrong house." Recently a thief that specialized in stealing things from homes said that on TV and I was not surprised.
Anyway, since Clyde's knee surgery I have a new fear. I am afraid of my knees. He takes good care of himself and so do I so I am worried I will tear the meniscus, too. I didn't kick real hard last night at Line Dance Class. I don't think there is a term for knee phobia but I definitely have it. I guess that's one for the books! LOL!

I am still griping away about the noise in my ear but I don't think I will cut if off like Van Gogh did. Pulsatile tinnitus is aggravating but I can stand a constant noise.
Intermittent noises really get to me- like the robin outside my window that keeps banging against its reflection to chase off the robin in the window. I guess I am going to have to cover the window so the bird can't see it. Not right now. Studio time is next.

Now that I am one of many with Pulsatile Tinnitus that isn't going away I am looking on the funny side. I saw a great cartoon about it.
A woman tells her doctor that she has a ringing in her ear. When she ignores it, it leaves a message. Clyde added and when she calls the number she just gets a busy signal.
That's life with a ringing ear.

I am going to see the doctor again today about this awful pulsing and tinnitus. Yesterday it was so much better I thought it was gone and then at 9:00p.m. it got real bad. I took some Sudafed and woke up this morning with all that noise and I don't mean All that Jazz like the movie.
I like jazz but this Pulsatile Tinnitus has got to go! I'm not sure if I should be worried. You know how the internet is. It can be nothing or something very serious. Oh well. The doctor will know what to do.

Well, now we know why the peanut butter was eaten off a trap and then later a mouse was caught. There were two and we got the second one today. We think they were a couple of brothers, Mo and Schmo.
Mo figured out how to get the food without getting caught and then Schmo came along and was not so lucky. Anyway, Mo must have slipped up today or there are more! Oh no!
Hope a family has not moved in. We are not a New Mouse version of The Borrowers!

Beautiful day and I could not be more behind in my work. Lots of distractions today including two plumber visits. Our water bill is four times what it should be so the plumber was called to see if there is some sort of leak.
He said no so I guess we will have a city official out to verify what he said. Then I asked him to fix the little spray nozzle on out kitchen sink. When he left it sprayed me when I turned on the faucet. I forget about it twice before the plumber came back. Glad he came back. I was tired of getting sprayed. Visit two did the job.

We didn't catch the mouse yesterday and found out that one of the traps is broken. When Clyde got up the working trap had a lot of evidence of a mouse around it and the peanut butter was gone. The mouse had managed to lick it off and not get caught. Clyde said that mouse must have a college degree.
Well, when I got up and looked the trap was upside down with the mouse dead underneath it. I told Clyde and he said it may have a college degree but it must have failed How to Avoid a Mouse Trap 101. We figured it just wanted to make sure it got all the peanut butter.
Anyway, bye bye mouse! If you had just used the Have a Heart trap you would still be around to enjoy this pretty day!

Clyde is getting better and hopes to get to work tomorrow. I don't know. The knee is still a pain in the knee so I am not sure he can drive for thirty minutes and then put in eight hours. Oh well. I guess he can claim victory and retreat after a few hours. We will see!

Once again we have a visitor we don't want. Lots of nasty evidence of a mouse in the kitchen. The first one we caught with a Have a Heart trap and Clyde took it down to the river.
The second one was caught in the same trap but managed to get out so we used the killer kind. I was hoping we could get the third one with the Have a Heart trap, but no luck so we will use the killer kind again.
In this case, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing for this mouse. It has successfully figured out how to avoid the Have a Heart trap so it will pay for that knowledge. As Clyde says, the more you know the more it comes back to bite you! Look out Smart Alec! You will be bit this time.
