Wow! Life is so different in the car these days. I can remember the days when no one talked on the phone. Now people are either on the phone or talking to their car with blue tooth. This morning while I was driving through a parking lot I had a call I had been waiting for regarding a commission.
Since I can't walk and chew gum at the same time I pulled over at an awkward angle where there was only one empty car so I could answer it. Of course, while I was in the midst of the conversation the driver came out to pull out and I tried real hard to angle my car better so they would not have a problem. When I hung up and started to back up my car acted like it was in neutral so I thought I had foolishly pulled up on the curb.
Well, it acted like it was in neutral because it was in neutral. Early morning adventures for a sleepy lady. I now have the commission and my car works just fine. Glad to get back to the studio to work on the second stage of Wildflower Swirl!

This time of the year I always hear a lot of people complain about how the season is rushed. Christmas decorations and marketing start earlier and earlier. Clyde said he had just taken off his Halloween mask when he saw Santa Claus hiding in the bushes.

Been jumping through hoops this morning with computer stuff and camera stuff. Waiting to hear from a Canadian visitor regarding one of my Skyline Beauty paintings he is interested in purchasing. Also, having a hard time getting some good files of work and not happy with Youtube changes. I want to publish a new one but I can't figure out how to add music. I know site change are to make things better but I always get mixed up. Anyway, I have started a new wildflower painting and here is the first stage! I hope to have it on my site soon.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Don't have anything from The Word Man today. We have been discussing Thanksgiving. We always go down to his Mom's house and celebrate with a lot of relatives. This year my mother-in-law is not up to it so I am going to try to bring Thanksgiving to her. I am not much of a cook so that is like asking asking a turkey to come up with something which brings me to a great cartoon I just saw!
I wish I could put on a mask and hold up a sign that says I am not a cook. Oh well, I will figure out something but I'll bet the Kroger Deli will have a lot to do with it!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Last night we were watching the hilarious Married with Children re-run! What a funny show. Clyde likes to flip back and forth between Star Trek and other shows during commercials. Just for fun and in the hopes of getting a funny from him I asked him if he could be a TV celebrity, which one would he choose? Captain Kangaroo. Why? He is off the air.
Oh well. I tried. I think I will go watch Kangaroo Jack. If you haven't seen it, be sure to get it! Great movie!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Well, we voted , and, as usual, we were happy about some results and unhappy about others. I'm sure that pretty much sums up everyone's viewpoint. All day long I saw pictures of people with the I voted sticker and we were given stickers. I knew Clyde would not put one on. Neither did I. Maybe we should be that is just not for us.
I teased Clyde with, "Aren't you going to put on your sticker?"
No, if I did it would be on my beard and would say My beard voted but I stayed home.
Okay, that is a really weird one from my Curmudgeon guy but I like it!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
I have a studio visit today so, of course, yesterday we had to bull doze the whole house! Clyde shoved a lot of his stuff that was sitting on the bed in our so-called guest room, that is really a computer room, into a closet. Wow, what a stuffed closet.
Before we started I told him I didn't want the patron to see such a messy dump.
Well, I won't be here.
I was talking about the house, not you.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde and puns go together like argh and groan! Actually I love them. I wish everybody did. Anyway here we go again.
Clyde and I were watching TV and he began to massage my calf.
Thank you! My calves are always tight.
Maybe you should give them some hay to make them happy. They won't pay you, though, since they are tight.
Why did I marry you? I don't watch birds.
