Beautiful day. I am seeing more and more signs of life outside. I am still sanitizing every thing that can be sanitized. People are being great about keeping their distance. My husband is in the back checking out bird populations which is something he lives for. I, of course, paint and play my piano.
I finally understand how to work my new recording gizmo and will soon have a Youtube of my shore work with my own piano music. I wrote a piece a while back and had it copyrighted. Youtube has some nice music but I want to add my own like I did when I first started uploading to my channel. Now, I have better recording equipment so I am looking forward to some great videos!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde and I are both amazed at certain groups of people that refuse to participate in social distancing during this crisis. When I went to Kroger today a store clerk asked me if I wanted to have my shopping cart sanitized. I said yes and thank you! She said she has to ask first because some customers don't want their cart sanitized. They think the Covad-19 is a hoax.
Also, there are reports of pastors that are still holding church services. Why can't they hold their services over the internet?
Clyde said if he dies as the result of people that refuse to take precautions he is going to come back as a ghost and haunt them. Shoelaces are going to be untied and tied over and over again. Phone chargers will be unplugged. Plates of food will mysteriously fall to the floor face down. Look out! The Word and Bird Man will get you if you don't do your best to keep from getting this disease and spreading it to others!
LOL! Important to laugh at a time like this. Stay safe everyone!

Well, I made it to Yoga and Line Dance and now I am back in the new "Smoking" position in front of the computer. I don't smoke but I have heard that sitting is the new smoking. That is kind of a weird phrase. I don't think sitting here will give me cancer but it sure isn't good for my muscles. I do think the radiation is a problem if people are right up against the screen.
I have read that everyone should be 19" away from the screen and I am about two feet. I am definitely a low risk person. The only way I would jump out of a plane is if someone pushed me to save my life. I stay away from planes as much as possible.
Tomorrow I will put the finishing touches on my current commission. I think it turned out well and the patron is very happy!

Clyde and I are still catching up on the great show Married with Children and I am still accusing him of writing it and putting the money in a Swiss bank account.
Now he says it was lost in the ship wreck.
Ship wreck? Why aren't you just using the internet.
You know how I hate the internet. I put it in big bags and the fish got it in the wreck.
Fish don't eat money.
Yeah? Then why did that sharp bite my butt while the others swam through the money. You should have seen that octopus play with the coins. You would have thought you were in Las Vegas.
Wow. What a fish story.
Oh well. All I know is that show at times practically asphyxiates me just like Clyde does. He may not have written it but he certainly has the same sense of humor.

Running around in circles today. Too much to do. I think I will try to get some dishes help today from the guys. Working all morning and the dirty dishes are piling up with reinforcements on the way for lunch soon. I have to get work on my latest wildflower painting that is at the driving- me -crazy stage and prepare a hardboard panel for a commission I need to get to very soon.
I told the patron I would have the first layer file for him in a few days so he can decide if I should makes any changes before I go ahead with all the other layers. Anyone out there that thinks artists just play around with paint should know you couldn't be more wrong, with all due respect.

I guess it is the abrupt change in weather but I am waking up with a headache. I googled this problem and didn't see anything to be worried about. I am not a hypochondriac but I do worry about health. hypochondriacs don't really want to get well from their imaginary illnesses. They just want sympathy. I just worry about serious problems.
Anyway, I mentioned to Clyde my morning headache and he said just look to your left. Ha ha. I told him the headache goes away when I get up and, of course, he said that was because he had left for work.
I think I may have mentioned this before but I am not going to look through all my blogs to find out.

Don't have anything from The Word Man today. We have been discussing Thanksgiving. We always go down to his Mom's house and celebrate with a lot of relatives. This year my mother-in-law is not up to it so I am going to try to bring Thanksgiving to her. I am not much of a cook so that is like asking asking a turkey to come up with something which brings me to a great cartoon I just saw!
I wish I could put on a mask and hold up a sign that says I am not a cook. Oh well, I will figure out something but I'll bet the Kroger Deli will have a lot to do with it!

I don't know of a lot to do on my blog today. I know what I don't want to do which is what I just did. I completely modified my last post like I always do and then realized I was working on the last one and not the new one. I foolishly left that one so it would not change but forgot to copy my changes so I have to start all over again. Arghhhh! Since I am a workaholic I don't usually have the Monday blahs but I am this time. Hope the rest of the day is better.
Need to get into the studio. There is no computer there.

I actually got out and danced last night! That was great! I really do spend so much time at home these days that getting away is such a nice experience. Been too busy with restoring a frame and postal stuff to paint so I want to get right to that.
I started another Skyline Beauty painting of Memphis TN with a limited palette for a change of pace. The first stage is getting a lot of hits! I am pleased that my abstract works are appreciated. I prefer working from images of this beautiful region but I also like to paint different things in a more expressive style. It is all good to me!

I am have thinking about how tricky and dangerous the internet is and then I saw this cute illustration that makes me think of it. In some ways the internet is like a many eyed monster.
Clyde said to think about the word. It is a net and what do you get with a net?
Fish?
Suckers. There are all kinds of fish with suckers.
I guess we all have to try not to be a sucker fish.

Fall on the New River certainly is a popular painting! Another print of it was bought today by a great Virginia patron. A great North Carolina patron owns the original. Check out the print possibilities below the picture of it. This certainly has been a busy day.
I am communicating with a patron who is interested in a commission which I am glad to do. I had so many online things I wanted to do today but the day is about shot and I didn't get to much. Oh well. I do the best I can as the days slip right out of my fingers. I am sure I am not alone in that regard. Cheers to me and everyone else!

I still have not ordered Clyde's Smart Phone. I told him I wanted him to find some plain pans that won't poison us and he hasn't done that yet so we are even.
I was thinking about what he said last time about how hard it will be for us to get a new phone going. He said it would be like two monkeys in a tree trying to open a banana with a coconut. Well, I think two monkeys in a tree would be smarter than that.
He said I was right. One of them would eat the banana and clunk the other one over the head with the coconut to open it. That sounds more like it! LOL!

Oh no! Clyde wants to get a new phone. Panic in the streets or at least in our house! When I bought my smart phone that is way smarter than me neither one of us could get it going so we had to talk to someone with a thick accent only to find out it was defective. We sent it back and got one we finally managed to get going. So far so good. I have not heaved it out the window.
Clyde is thinking of getting one like mine so the nightmare will begin again. He says it will be like two monkeys in a tree trying to open a coconut with a banana!
