Who shot Monday out of a cannon! I can't believe how little I got done today so now I have to do it now. Well, what happened was I escaped and went shopping for shoes at the mall. The only shoe store Radford had closed so now I have to travel to Christiansburg.
I hate to shop but it was great to get out and the store had a terrific sale! I got new sneakers and two pairs of dress shoes! Yes! I was in and out of there so fast I had time to go get a new blouse!
So, here is my third Demo Youtube! I am really getting into these and adding paintings to my Suggestions collection on my website! A win, win! Please check it out and click on the link to the finished painting!

The billboard contest is still on! Please vote for my work!
The company that handles my print sales is hosting a billboard contest and I would greatly appreciate your votes! The contest ends July 31st! Here are the popular paintings I entered and the links to the contest are directly below the image!
I didn't realize until people started notifying me, but FAA requires voters to set up an account. It is free and you can cancel at any time. Also, if you ever want a print of mine on just about anything, FAA is the place to go! My work is great for gifts for the person that has everything. You can't buy a yoga mat with my artwork on it in a store! Check it out!
Thank you!

I am arguing with the computer once again. Trying to bulk edit my listings on a site and only a few were changed. I know I checked the change all listings simultaneously box but, as usual, the computer did what it wanted to do. They really do have minds of their own. I just wish they had a cooperative mind or I was much more computer saavy. I would say back to the drawing board but that doesn't apply here. Back to the computer screen that I am looking at too much.
Here is the first stage of my new wildlife painting!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
I was very surprised that a show I liked so much has been cancelled! The Last Man on Earth was great with great actors and writers and the last episode is a cliff hanger. A small group of survivors was on its own for a long time and some of them even reproduced. In the last scene they are surrounded by dozens of people with gas masks on. That's it? Show cancelled?
I complained to Clyde and he said well Star Trek was thrown out way before it completed it's five year mission.
Yeah, they were beaming people up all over the place and then the space rug was yanked out from under them.
Maybe they should have beamed up some TV execs and had a talk with them.
Oh well, I guess I will never know how the merry band on The Last Man on Earth handled all those other survivors.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Yesterday when Clyde came home I told him there was something I wanted to say to him but it went right out my head.
You changed the locks but it didn't work?
No.
You meant to change the locks but forgot?
No.
Maybe the next time you come home with a snarky comment I will remember.
Go watch some birds.

Working at a hundred things at the same time but I am trying to get my latest commissioned painting of an enlargement of Wading on its way to Richmond. Had to take some pictures with very few mishaps. I didn't trip over the tripod but I did have trouble attaching the camera to it. Sometimes the little gizmo fights me. Anyway, ran into a frame problem so I will be mailing the painting tomorrow.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
I always get the Bird report from Clyde and a lot of people think that is all he studies which is not at all true. He studies all wildlife and plants, too.
The other day he told me he was out watching plants grow.
No one watches a plant grow.
It was moving faster than me.
One for the naturalist books. As Charlie Brown would say,"Good grief".

I have a lot of new ideas for paintings and looking forward to starting them. I want to get back to my main pursuit which is colorful impasto landscape paintings.
I also have some ideas from Pawleys Island visits and some wildlife ideas. What I don't have is someone to add hours to the day. Oh well. I know I am not the only one that wants that sort of help.
Cheers!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
We recently watched a movie that had an elaborate wedding. It involved a wedding planner, lots of guests, dance lessons for the wedding party, rehearsal dinner, lots of pre-wedding drama, etc.
We threw something together with the help of my Mom and just had the two immediate families at a club. I didn't even want a cake but the minister said we should have a cake, but I did not stuff Clyde's mouth with it. Don't like that custom.
Anyway, after the movie with the fancy wedding Clyde said if I had wanted all of that stuff he would have gotten a speeding ticket zooming down the interstate in the opposite direction. I think our simple wedding was right for us.

I am getting the crate ready to send my enlargement of Wading to a Richmond painting. Artwork has to be immobilized for protection so it has to be double boxed. It is a pain to cut all the cardboard pieces but it has to be done. The paint is still wet in a number of places so it looks like it won't be shipped until next week. Oh well, it will be sent out as soon as possible.

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
I mentioned that Mark Zuckerberg wants to be my Facebook friend and Prince Harry is following me on Twitter. Well, now the official Facebook Office is following me on Google+! Their page has no information but does have a few gullible followers.
Scammers all over the internet. I also get a lot of scam messages on Facebook. Clyde said I should blow them all a kiss.
How do I blow scammers a kiss on the internet?
There is probably a tutorial on that. Look it up.
Ha ha.
