My current genre painting is coming along so well I may have to pinch myself to see if I am dreaming!  I am in the third stage and the brushwork and colors are singing!  Painting can be such a difficult experience.  The ones that have less arm wrestling are a wonderful journey!  Hope to have the third stage done soon so I can add it to my portfolio!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

 

Yesterday we saw a commercial about a dog food that helps out of shape dogs get their vigor back.

The worn out dog is lying on the floor.  The next scene shows the same dog running around catching a ball and looking great. 

Clyde said that's the dog's stand-in. 

The first dog is chewing on a fattening treat right after he told the director that running around after a ball was not in his contract.

One car down.  Our Prius gave Clyde a nasty note about break fluid.  Needless to say, the repair people towed it.  Can't take a chance on the breaks going out.  Hopefully the other car will keep going.  They are both very old.  We are waiting for one to croak and then get a new one.  Oh well.  As my grandmother would say, "Such is life".

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

I mentioned  to Clyde that he knows about Murphy's Law.

He said he wasn't even sure if he knew Murphy.

Ha ha.

Anyway, of course he knows about Murphy's Law.  I'll bet just about everyone has heard one of his  laws that states, "A good deed never goes unpunished."

Well, today I added another one.  I have been working hard to correct my bad habit of dropping things.  Last week I pulled a muscle in my back and it is still sore.  Since that happened I can't believe how many things I have dropped.

So, new law.  The probability of dropping something sky rockets when your back hurts.
