Sometimes a painting really comes together and it doesn't even have to age! That is what happened this time and I am extremely pleased with my latest Blue Ridge sunset painting. It came together after a number of detours and frustration.
I didn't quit because it was a good as it was going to get. I quit because it was exactly what I wanted and that is always a red letter day! I am pleased to present it here and I have started on another sunset painting. I am really into those gorgeous evening colors right now.
I may do a still life soon but it is such a lot of work getting the composition and the lighting right. Although painting is a lot of work, it is what I love to do but I am a little lazy about difficult set ups. Oh well. I will get to one soon. Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
Clyde and I have been a little uptight the last week or so. He has said a few very funny things but I don't think I should print them. Anyway, we both loved something we saw on Facebook. Someone asked God for a sign if the person was eating too much. The picture of a cloud that looked just like a pig was floating by! Love it!
