I am real excited about my current Pawleys Island painting!  I have the first layer done and I like it so much that I am offering it for prints!  Now it is going to change quite a bit so I can get a much more complicated surface.  I hope I will not be sorry that I didn't leave it as is.  Here it is and also in my latest Youtube above!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler

In my last blog I said our Prius had never gotten over the loss of our Ford so it laid down and died.  Well, I guess it decided to carry on because it is now repaired and zooming along!  We had to pay for a very expensive battery.  The Prius has two batteries and the little one conked out. 

Of course, it is past the warranty.  Cars parts know just when to die.  Some sort of automotive intuition. Anyway, we are glad we don't have to buy a new car.  This one should hobble along for a few more years. 

Clyde and I are both hobbling along pretty well.  You'd think the car could do the same thing.  Our parts aren't replaceable.
