Well, here I am again after doing so many other things. I actually got out to the store which was great! I don't like to shop but I have so little time these days that shopping has become a pleasant break! Anyway, I have so many chores that I will just say I am so glad to sell a print of Huckleberry Line Trail Rain Pond to a great Montana patron.
This is a very special painting for me. When I was first married Clyde and I always took a walk in the good weather on Huckleberry Line Trail. At the end of the walk there was a rain pond. I love to stare at water! We sat there for a while. Such a peaceful place!
It has since dried up but it will always live in this painting!

Well, once again I have been crowned. Yuck. Now I have three crowns and the Insurance Company still wants to insist I got them for cosmetic reasons. Yeah, I want people to see gold teeth when I smile rather than the natural color. It was either get a crown or lose the tooth. I think they should fess up and pay for part of that so-called cosmetic procedure. I had to pay $1086.00. No insurance coverage at all.
Anyway, glad to sell more Blue Ridge painting prints to mountain dwellers like myself! A great NC patron bought prints of Blue Ridge Autumn and The Smoky Mountains! A NC patron owns Blue Ridge Autumn and a NY patron owns The Smoky Mountains but wall art prints and prints on just about anything are available! Check out the possibilities by clicking on the link under the paintings!

Life with The Word and Bird Man - Clyde Kessler
A little dark humor this time.
I was joking with Clyde about the next election and told him he would make a great president.
No, but if elected I would make History.
How's that?
I would be the first president to assassinate himself.
Okay, no white house for you unless we paint this one. Don't think that will happen. I like the brown.

Been thinking about all the great movies I have seen. I have quite a collection and even have some silent films that I think are fantastic!
The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari is a masterpiece! The sets are incredible. I have never seen expressionistic sets like the ones for this film. A talking remake was made a while back and I need to order that one, too. They used footage from the first one.
I like all kinds, but my favorite ones are about friendship. If you didn't see the wonderful 80's sleeper, My Body Guard, be sure to see it. We have a program at our church called Faith and Film. We take turns bringing in films that we think are uplifting. I think I will bring My Body Guard next. Love it!
Anyway, back to my art form. Be sure to click on my latest youtube below with another Center of my Mind painting! Sometimes I love music without words! Also, check out the Special Promotion that ends on Tuesday at the end of the post!
